What to include in your message

The more specific your submission, the faster we can review and respond. Here's what helps most for each type of inquiry:

📋 Reporting a data error

  • Which page or tool the error appears on
  • What the site currently shows
  • What you believe the correct information is
  • The public source you're referencing (e.g. a DEP permit number, AFR year, meeting date)

🗺️ Reporting a map or permit issue

  • The permit ID or development name
  • The status shown on the site
  • The current status you believe is correct
  • A link to the relevant DEP eFACTS or permit tracker page if available

💬 General question

  • Your question in plain language
  • Which page or tool prompted it
  • Whether you'd like a public response or a private reply

📖 Suggesting a source

  • The public record or document you're referencing
  • Where to access it (URL, agency name, record type)
  • Which page or dataset it would improve
